How to reject purchase requisition after editing it as approver?

Currently, when an approver enters the 'Approver Edit' mode but later decides to reject the PR, there is no option to do so. Only the 'Submit' button is visible in the cart. If the approver submits the PR to move it out of cart mode, it automatically progresses to the next approver instead of being rejected. Is there an existing feature or a workaround that allows an approver to reject a PR while in the approver Edit mode scenario?
