In Oracle Narrative Reporting ,can we edit notes in a Note Box using smart view?

In Oracle Narrative Reporting, I am working with a simple report (not a report package). I would like to understand whether it is possible to edit notes within a Note Box or Inline Box directly from Smart View.

Is there any supported method or workaround to update these notes through Smart View, or is editing restricted only to the web interface?
