Cannot generate sample data for DM when customizing Invoice Print Template

in Receivables & Collections

Summary:

I am trying to add custom RTF invoice templates to Oracle BI Publisher to be used in Fusion.

  1. I used the "Generate Receivables Transactions: Invoices" scheduled process to gather sample XML data.
  2. I used that sample XML data to create a custom RTF invoice template in Word using the BIP add-on.
  3. I clicked Customize on the Invoice Print Template report in BI Publisher to create a custom version in the Custom folder.
  4. I clicked Add New Layout, but got the error message: "Error: Data Model does not contain sample data. Please edit Data Model and save with sample data."
