USOPTE Federal Additional Withholding for Multiple Assignments

Good morning,

We are running our first payroll process on USOPTE. We are looking at employees who have multiple assignments. When we tested, we were only testing primary assignment, so we missed this testing scenario.

But if a TM has additional withholding, how does USOPTE handle that? I know there are known variances related to exempt W4 forms, but there is also a known variance for this:

In testing, we did see a "process separately" payment NOT withhold the amount, so that makes sense.

However, how does this variance apply to mulitple assignments? Does USOPTE withhold extra withholdings for each assignment that is processed in payroll?
