Redwood UI: "Assign" Action Bypassing Goal Plan Limits and Weightage Validations

Hi Team,

We are facing an issue in the Redwood UI where the "Assign" action (via Me > My Goals) is bypassing established Goal Plan restrictions.

Despite having "Enforce maximum goals" and "Enforce weights total 100" enabled in our Goal Plan configuration, Line Managers are able to assign goals that exceed these limits. The "Assign to" popup currently allows them to push more than the maximum number of goals and a total weightage exceeding 100% without any "hard stop" validation.

Questions:

  • Has anyone else encountered this validation gap specifically within the Redwood assign to action?
  • Are there any recommended workarounds(or Redwood customisations) to ensure the "Assign" popup respects the Goal Plan limits?
