How to give only "View" Access to Personal Contact Information for Line Manager

I am trying to create a custom role from Line manager and not being able to give only view access to Personal Contact Information of employees under their Hierarchy. If anybody can help in giving me the Privileges or Roles which can give only "View" access to Line Managers
