Suppressing Retro Adjustments from Oracle Time & Labor to ADP Payroll

Summary:

Context: The client is implementing Oracle Time & Labor and Absence Management, with ADP as the payroll system.

Requirement: The client would like to allow certain retro (historical) adjustments to be corrected in the OTL module but not sent to payroll.

In other words:

  • Timecard changes should be reflected and corrected within OTL
  • However, selected entries (based on a flag/attribute such as “Suppress from Payroll”) should be excluded from the outbound payroll extract

The client is currently able to support this behavior in Kronos, where retro adjustments can be suppressed from payroll processing.
