Send negative bill lines from subscription management to AR as Credit Memo

We have a scenario where we are creating negative usage lines (by adding negative quantity in usage) in subscription billing.
These negative bill lines are interfaced to AR as negative AR invoices.
The requirement is to create those as Credit Memos in AR.

Is there a way to do this?
