Predictive Planning – Unexpected sign behavior for Revenue and Expense scenarios

Hi all,

I’m currently working with Predictive Planning (IPM) in Oracle EPM and I’m observing some unexpected behavior in the generated scenarios (Working, Best Case, Worst Case) related to sign handling and data interpretation.

Module - Financial Planning

Data includes both Revenue and Expense accounts

In our application - Revenue is stored as negative values (red values in parentheses) in the system

Predictive Planning is using historical actual data to generate forecasts.

In the Worst Case scenario, I am seeing that Revenue values become significantly larger than Best Case
