Integration with SAP?

We're in the process of implementing SAP as our personnel management system. I'm investigating creating integrations between SAP and Taleo - likely bi-directional feeding basic requisition info from SAP to Taleo and hire information from Taleo to SAP. TCC seems like the obvious choice, but has anyone attempted this using something else?
