Date Decision Parameters?

Hi!

We're using the Data Decision step in a Campaign for the first time, for contract renewals, and we're noticing a oddity.

Scenario, testing 3 test contacts:

Opp: Initial Close Date on the test contacts: 5/29/26, 5/30/26, 5/31/26

data decision configuration:

First Value: Current Date (today, 5/28/26)

Operator: Equals

Contact Date Field > Opp: Initial Close Date + 1 day (and then 2 more data decisions with +2 days and +3 days)

I push the test through, and the contact with the 5/30 date hit the +2 day step and the contact with the 5/31 date hit the +3 day step, as expected.

However, the contact with the 5/29 date did NOT hit the +1 day step. Why would that be? Is the time of day somehow in there somewhere messing with it? help!
