Automatic correspondences and executive level resumes

We have an automatic acknowledgement correspondence set up to go out to all external candidates when they apply. This also applies when we are adding in resumes via Create a Candidate from the SWT.

An issue came up where one of our admin's was adding in an Executive resume and the recruiter did not want a notification to go out to the candidate. The recruiter just wanted the resume to be in the system. Are there any alternatives, besides making the correspondence manual? Thanks!
