ApprovePerformanceGoals rule: exclude status / notes only changes

Hi all,

we’re configuring the ApprovePerformanceGoals rule and I’d like to know if this requirement is achievable by configuration:

• Auto‑approve when the employee changes only the goal status (Not started / In progress / Completed) or only adds progress notes
• Send to manager approval for all other changes (creation or content changes)

Has anyone implemented this logic, or is it a product limitation (all changes treated as “Goal Updated”)?
