Can Overall Salary rate component be used for multiple salary basis with different structure?

Hello,

We have a case where two salary basis are having different structure (one with 4 components and another with 2 components) but the Overall salary rate component tagged to both salary basis is same.

For ex., below is the structure:

Salary basis A

Salary basis B

Calculation Logic

Annual Base Salary

Annual Base Salary

Fixed Value

Other Allowance

Other Allowance

Fixed Value

Housing Allowance

10%* Annual Base Salary

Transport Allowance

5%* Annual Base Salary

Overall Salary

Overall Salary

Annual Base Salary + Other Allowance + Housing Allowance + Transport Allowance

As mentioned above, Overall Salary component is same though the structure is different. Will there by any impact with the above configuration. What is the recommendation suggested on Overall Salary if the structure is different?
