Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guidance on the best-fit Oracle Cloud SCM approach for a full Demand Management (DM) implementation for a spare parts planning use case.

We are working on a business process where demand planning is not purely sales-order driven. In addition to historical consumption, the business relies on an external operational driver (similar to ridership/usage by asset and market) that is maintained outside Oracle and refreshed on a periodic planning cycle. Today, the organization uses a combination of Oracle planning data plus externally prepared forecast files that are manually consolidated and uploaded, which creates effort, limited traceability, and long preparation cycles.
