Need single sourcing across multiple BU
Summary:
We are currently implementing Oracle Fusion Order Management, Global Order Promising (GOP), and Pricing for a multinational organization and would appreciate guidance on sourcing and ATP design.
Business Structure
- 7 Business Units
- Each Business Unit is associated with its own Inventory Organization (physical warehouse)
- Common Item Master Organization
- Most items are enabled across all Inventory Organizations
- Approximately 500 common customers shared across all Business Units
- Standard Sales Order fulfillment process is currently in scope
- Back-to-Back and Drop Ship processes are under evaluation and may be introduced later
Current Design Consideration
Since all Inventory Organizations stock similar items and our fulfillment process is relatively standardized, we are considering a simplified GOP setup:
