Statutory Sickness Absence: No Payment Details Despite Disabling Earnings Check
We have a few cases where employees do not meet the AWE requirement, and we do not want to override AWE values for statutory sick pay. The “Insufficient Lower Earnings Limit” certificate is being generated as expected.
We tested the Disable Earnings Check option, but it does not change the payment percentage - which I understand is expected — and it also does not remove the insufficient earnings certificate, which is also expected behaviour.
However, I am trying to understand the actual purpose of this checkbox.
In our scenario, whether the earnings check is enabled or disabled, the statutory elements are being picked up, but no payment details appear in the Person Process Results.
