Still no 'merge contacts' feature?!

Is there still no way to merge contacts in Eloqua? Is this something Oracle will consider implementing at some point in future?

Example scenario:

1. Jane Doe exists in SF (and ELQ) from years ago as jane.doe@example.com
2. Jane performs a new activity with jdoe@example.com as her email address
3. New ELQ contact and subsequent SF lead are created
4. SF lead is converted into old/existing SF contact because we can see it's the same person, but that doesn't update the email address to the new one
5. Two contacts now exist in ELQ: jane.doe@example.com with all the history and jdoe@example.com with the new activity and lead score. Both have the same SFDC contact ID.
