while running retro, getting error "Formula ORA_IS_ASG_LINK_TO_CIR_EE line 25 returned null value"

Summary:

For one person, while trying to run retro, the below error occurs. The timecard element is processed for the same employee in the previous periods. The payroll relationship is fine. Assignment has just a manager change recently. The formula in the error is a delivered one. What else is the issue for this person? Why is the assignment not recognized for this person? Please help!
