BPM Notification Reassign Behavior – Task Remains Until New Assignee Approves

Hi,

We would like to understand the expected behavior when using the Reassign action for a BPM notification/task.

Currently, when a user reassigns a notification to another user, the notification/task does not disappear from the original user’s Worklist immediately. It appears to remain visible until the new assignee takes action and approves the task.

Is this the standard system behavior?
If so, is there any configuration that can change this behavior, so that the task is removed from the original user’s Worklist immediately after reassignment?

Alternatively, could this be related to BPM configuration, notification settings, or user permissions?
