How To burst reports/books using two dimensions ?

We have a requirement to burst reports/books using two dimensions. However, in Oracle EPM, there does not appear to be any standard functionality to burst a report or book using more than one dimension simultaneously.

As a workaround, we attempted the following configuration:

One dimension is set at the report/book level using the Bottom_Member() function and marked as unselectable.
The second dimension is set at the Bursting Definition level using the Bottom_Member() function.

With this setup, the system automatically picks only the first member of the dimension configured at the report/book level as the default value, and then bursts the report only for all members of the second dimension configured in the bursting definition.
