How do we solutionize a Multi meter and Day Based PM plan for moving assets like Truck/Cars.

We have a requirement for a Truck asset that requires preventive maintenance based on three different criteria:

  • Distance traveled (KM meter)
  • Hours of operation (Hour meter)
  • Time interval (every 90 days)

We are considering attaching two meter-based maintenance schedules (KM and Hours) along with one day-based schedule (90 days) to the same PM Plan.

Our expectation is that the PM Plan should generate a forecast and work order based on whichever maintenance condition becomes due first, assuming both meter readings are updated regularly.

We tested this scenario, but the forecast was generated based on only one of the meter schedules. We could not determine whether the other meter condition and the 90-day interval were also being evaluated while generating the forecast and work order.
