Hide Current job App: Why compare the error "EL expression isn't correct"?

Hi all,

we're implementing and configuration recruiting module and we need to hide "Current jobs" app under "Me" task follow the official instructor about Oracle at the following guide:

Basically, to hide the application, you need to enter the expression shown in the screenshot. However, I don't understand why the error shown in the screenshot appears. Does anyone know what could be causing it?
