Employees receiving "You can't create this payment method because there are duplicate payment types"

Our associates on the ESS side are experiencing an issue all of a sudden to where they are trying to add a payment method and get the message "You can't create this payment method because there are duplicate payment types". Nothing they are attempting to do appears to be a duplicate. The new payment method is a different name, utilizing a different existing bank account, and its a current effective date. Its not a single associate, but multiple. As an admin user I am able to update it, but the employee is unable to. I would think it could be
