Last contacted in recruiting module- Job application/candidate profile

We would like to know the time which last contacted information on job application and candidate profile reflects too.

As per our understanding Last contacted information is the last email sent to the job applicant or candidate profile or added as an interaction is added with the respective profile, i.e if interaction is added on candidate profile, then the last contacted is updated on candidate profile only and not on job application profile and vice versa.

Similarly, if a mail/text is sent to job application profile is only stored in job application and not synced in candidate profile.
