Is it possible for customers to decide when HCM Tax and Geography updates are applied?

Summary:

We have transitioned to US OPTE and receive HCM Tax and Geography updates monthly - the 19th of the month for non-production and the 25th of the month for production.

Is there any way for the customer to control when these updates are applied to production? We have the "How do I manage legislative data updates for the Americas?" documentation but do not see anything specifically related to custom scheduling.
