Approval rules need to be triggered on Requisition based on Item-Product Line

Hi All,

We have a business requirement to derive Requisition approval rules based on the Product Line, which is maintained in the Product Hierarchy catalog at the Master Item level.

However, we are facing the below constraint:

• There is no event raised at Requisition creation, so populating the Product Line into a Requisition DFF through integration is not feasible.

Has anyone encountered a similar requirement where Requisition approvals need to be driven based on Product Line?

If yes, could you please share how this was handled or if there is any recommended workaround/design approach?
