Oracle Fusion MFA Enforcement — Impact on OAC scheduled jobs using Fusion user/pass credentials

Hello,

We are assessing the impact of Oracle-enforced MFA for Fusion Applications after OCI IAM migration, specifically for Oracle Analytics Cloud scheduled jobs / scheduled refreshes that connect to Fusion using stored username/password credentials.

In our case, OAC connects to Fusion using a service account username and password. This account is used for scheduled jobs and system-driven reporting/refresh activity, so there is no interactive user present to complete MFA enrolment or MFA verification.

We would like to understand how Oracle MFA enforcement impacts this pattern.

Has anyone received confirmation from Oracle on the following?

  1. Will Oracle-enforced MFA impact OAC scheduled jobs or scheduled refreshes that use a Fusion service account with username/password credentials?
