If a bug is found after TEST upgrade, can Fusion PROD be deferred by changing cohorts?

Summary:

Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (including CX4U) follow a mandatory quarterly release cycle. Each quarterly release delivers new functionality, fixes, security updates, and other maintenance changes. Oracle rolls these updates out across customers in cohorts, which are staggered monthly schedules rather than all customers being upgraded at once.


Cohort A - February, May, August, November
Cohort B - March, June, September, December
Cohort C - April, July, October, January

For each quarterly release, the update is applied to TEST-preview / stage / non-production first, giving the customer a short validation window before Production is updated. Oracle describes the standard cadence as: Test is updated first, then Production is updated about two weeks later.
