Public Person Security Profile restriction not working on Company Directory and Connections page

Summary:

Hi,

We are trying to restrict the Company Directory and Connections page by Business Unit for employees in Oracle HCM Cloud Redwood.

We have created a Public Person Security Profile to restrict visibility to employees within the same Business Unit. When we preview the profile, it works correctly and returns the expected results.

We then created a custom Employee role by copying the delivered Employee abstract role, and associated this Public Person Security Profile to it. However, when the custom data role is assigned to an employee, the restriction is not applied and employees can still see all workers in the Directory, and the Connections page shows no results at all.
