Workflow Automations - Can These Be Deleted?

We are creating workflow automations in one of our DEV pods, and I came across a scenario where I needed to delete one of them because it just simply doesnt work. I was trying setup a notification for "when a request is deleted, notify help desk admin with request number, title, and last updated by name" but this doesn't work because I assume the request was deleted and the info is not available anymore. :\ If we cannot currently delete them, can we suggest this become a possibility in the future?
