Payroll entries to GL SLA Grouping by Department
We would like to know whether Oracle Fusion Payroll accounting entries generated through Payroll entires to GL (SLA) can be grouped by Department instead of by Employee when transferred to the General Ledger.
Current Behavior:
- Payroll costing and accounting entries are generated at the employee level.
- During the transfer to GL, entries are grouped by the GL account combination, but employee-level details are still reflected in the SLA accounting with SLA transaction number without person number.
Business Requirement:
- Employee-wise details should remain available within the Payroll module for audit and reconciliation purposes.
- However, in the General Ledger, we would like the accounting entries to be summarized
