Clarification on Running an Ownership-Verified Vulnerability Assessment Platform on OCI Compute

edited Jul 11, 2026 12:45PM in OCI - General

Hello OCI Community,

I am a Computer Science student at Bennett University, India, and the developer of ONUS, an open-source AI-assisted Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) platform.

Before deploying ONUS on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, I would like to clarify whether the intended architecture and usage of OCI Compute would comply with Oracle Cloud policies.

About ONUS

ONUS is an open-source security assessment platform that combines multiple security assessment capabilities into a unified web interface.

The platform currently includes:

  • Website reconnaissance
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • Authenticated security assessments
  • OWASP ZAP integration
  • Nuclei-based security checks
  • AI-assisted explanation of findings
  • Deterministic CVSS scoring
  • Evidence verification before findings are presented
