Department Segment Rule Not Working for Self-Assessed Tax Liability Accounting Line in Payables
Hi everyone,
We are facing an issue in Oracle Fusion Cloud Payables and would like to know if anyone has implemented a similar requirement.
We have created a custom Department Segment Rule to derive the Cost Center from:
- Purchase Order Charge Account (for PO invoices)
- Invoice Distribution Account (for non-PO invoices)
The rule is assigned to both Liability and Self-Assessed Tax Liability journal lines in our Payables Subledger Journal Entry Rule Set.
The result is:
- For the normal Liability accounting line, the Department is derived correctly.
- For the Self-Assessed Tax Liability accounting line, the Department is not changed. Oracle keeps the Department value from the Tax Liability Account configured in Tax setup.
