Guidance Required on Deriving Revenue Account from Parent Item

We have a business requirement where the revenue account for a child item or other charge item needs to be derived from its corresponding parent item. Once the parent item revenue account is derived, SLA rules need to be applied to override a few account segments based on business requirements.How can we achieve this?
