Summary:

Shared Bank Account Across Multiple Ledgers – Bank Reconciliation and Accounting Challenges in Oracle Cash Management

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

A company has one physical bank account owned by one Legal Entity (UK), but the same bank account is being used by three different Operating Units (OUs) that belong to different Legal Entities and different ledgers.

Setup

  • OU1 (UK) – Legal Entity: UK Branch – Ledger 001 – Actual bank account owner
  • OU2 (Hungary) – Legal Entity: Hungary Branch – Ledger 002
  • OU3 (Israel) – Legal Entity: Israel Branch – Ledger 003

What is Working?

✅ The bank account can be used by all three OUs by creating separate bank account records with the same bank account number but different Legal Entities and Cash GL accounts.

Howdy, Stranger!
