How to make Item field editable on a duplicated requisition line?

I have created a requisition with one line with an item. Now I duplicate the line 1 within the same requisition and line 2 is created. On this line 2, the "Item" field is non-editable. Customer needs "Item" field to be editable on this duplicated line 2.
