Fast Formula Requirement – Allowance Element

We need to design a Fast Formula for the Allowance element so that an employee who is hired in the middle of a payroll period does not receive a prorated or full allowance in the current payroll period.

The expected behavior is:

• When an employee is hired during an active payroll period, the Allowance element may be assigned based on the employee’s eligibility.
• However, the allowance payment should be skipped for the payroll period in which the employee was hired.
• The employee should start receiving the allowance from the next full payroll period.
