We have a business requirement to recognize revenue for eligible Term Software products using two different revenue recognition methods. The source transaction originates as a single line in Salesforce, Oracle Order Management, and Accounts Receivable. However, during RMCS processing, we need the single source line to be transformed into two revenue performance obligations:

20% of the transaction amount recognized as Point in Time.
80% of the transaction amount recognized as Over Time.

The billing transaction must remain as a single invoice line, and only the revenue recognition should be split.
