Oracle Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management – Detailed Application Type End of Support

Oracle has published a Statement of Direction announcing that Oracle Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM) Release 11.2.26 will be the final release to support the Detailed Application type. Error correction support for Release 11.2.26 is expected to continue through July 31, 2027. Beginning with Release 11.2.27, the Detailed Application type will no longer be available or accessible, and existing Detailed applications will no longer be usable in that release or later.

Customers currently using Detailed applications are encouraged to begin planning their transition to the Management Ledger application type, which provides enhanced flexibility, multi-step allocation capabilities, simplified reporting and integration, and an easier migration path to Oracle EPM Cloud Profitability and Cost Management. Oracle recommends making this transition at the earliest opportunity.
