Feasibility of Peer Group and Intercompany Journal Approvals Using Seeded BPM

We are currently evaluating Oracle Fusion General Ledger Journal Approval BPM to determine whether the following business approval scenarios can be implemented using seeded functionality.

1. Peer Group Journal Approval

In our organization, each journal preparer is assigned to a predefined peer group. Within each peer group, approvers are configured with different approval levels, monetary limits, and effective dates.

Ideally, when a journal is submitted for approval, Oracle should be able to:

• Automatically determine the preparer's assigned peer group.
• Identify the appropriate approval group based on the journal amount.
• Route the approval request to all eligible approvers within the selected approval group.
