How to Account for Transit Loss During Intercompany Transfer Order Receiving?
Summary:
I have a business requirement related to transit loss during receiving of an Intercompany Transfer Order and would appreciate guidance on the standard Oracle Fusion approach.
Business Scenario:
- An Intercompany Transfer Order is created for 10 MT of Ethanol.
- The shipment is created and 10 MT is ship-confirmed.
- During transportation, 1 MT is lost due to transit loss/leakage.
- At the destination, the actual quantity received is therefore only 9 MT.
- We want to record the actual receipt as 9 MT and separately account for the 1 MT transit loss.
