DFF values not fetched in notification during resign from employment Redwood

Hi Experts,

We have recently enabled the "Resign from Employment" process in our environment and configured some DFF fields as mandatory. Although employees are entering these required values during submission, they are not being captured in the transaction table—the values are passed as "NULL" and are not available in the system even after approval.
Has anyone encountered the same issue? Is there any fix or workaround for this behavior?
