Default DFF Value (SQL Data Type) on Redwood Create Offer Page Based on Hiring Manager Hierarchy

Description (Required)

We are trying to default a DFF segment (Data Type = SQL) on the Redwood Create Offer page based on the relationship between the selected Hiring Manager and the Department Head.

Requirement:

• Default DFF value to 'Y' if the Hiring Manager is the designated Department Head or belongs to the Department Head's reporting hierarchy.
• Default DFF value to 'N' otherwise.

We are planning to implement this using a VBS Business Rule. However, the required manager hierarchy information does not appear to be available within the exposed Offer attributes in VBS.
