Unable to apply the receipt to an invoice multiple times via REST

Summary:We are unable to apply the same receipt to an invoice multiple times using the REST API, whereas we can achieve this business outcome in the UI by simply editing the existing application line.

Hi everyone,

We have a business process where we need to apply a receipt to the same invoice in multiple steps. However, we are finding that we cannot apply the same receipt to the same invoice multiple times using the REST API.

If we attempt to send a second application for the same receipt and invoice combination via REST, the system simply fails to apply the additional receipt amount to the invoice.
