Validation rule in Redwood to restrict employees from adding multiple Home Address

Hello connections!
We have a request from non-US customer that, they want to restrict employees from adding multiple Home Address Type if one Home Address already exsists. As we understand that, for non-US customers, the only way is through Auto Complete Rules in RUI or Validation Rules in Redwood UI. We are seeking for a way to achieve this request. If someone can please help.
