Hire date change

Is it possible to change the hire date from the UI? I have tried, but it does not appear to be possible. also tried Change assignment- but the start date cannot be edited, can someone please share the HDL file.​‌

Do we need to use the HDL to change the Hire Date?

Can somone share the HDL file to change the hire date.
