Always Free A1 instances disabled – request re-enable

Hello Oracle Support / Community,

My Always Free Ampere A1 instances were disabled today (August 18, 2026) due to the new Always Free compute limits (from 4 OCPU / 24 GB to 2 OCPU / 12 GB total).

I currently have two instances that were each configured with 2 OCPU / 12 GB. I need them temporarily re-enabled so I can immediately resize each one to 1 OCPU / 6 GB (keeping the total within the new Always Free limit of 2 OCPU / 12 GB).

Error message when trying any action:
Instance ocid1.instance.oc1.sa-vinhedo-1.an3ggljrf5i4wnyc7dvy7whazjqyrtdx7yjhhcx4an2dmm3q3lel42cjoo6q is disabled and will not accept any action requests. Please contact customer support to reenable.
