Always Free A1 instance disabled – request temporary re-enable to resize

Summary:

My Always Free VM.Standard.A1.Flex instance was disabled after the updated Ampere A1 Always Free limits were enforced. I cannot resize, start, stop, or reboot it.

Tenancy type: Always Free / Free Tier
Home region: ap-singapore-1
Previous configuration: 4 OCPUs / 24 GB RAM
Target configuration: 2 OCPUs / 12 GB RAM
Disabled date: August 19, 2026

I received the allocation update email on August 5, but unfortunately did not resize the instance before the enforcement deadline.

When I try to resize it, OCI returns:

“Instance is disabled and will not accept any action requests. Please contact customer support to reenable.”

I am not requesting any additional quota. Please temporarily re-enable the existing instance so that I can immediately resize it to 2 OCPUs and 12 GB RAM and comply with the updated Always Free limits.
