Is it possible to send the PDF from "Create Customer Statements" job to an FTP server?

We need to automatically deliver generated Customer Statement PDFs to an external FTP/SFTP location.

Tested different approaches, one after another. Here's what happened with each, in plain terms:

  1. Ask the system to re-create the PDF after the statement job finishes. This worked technically — we successfully got a real PDF back. But it looks like the underlying data disappears from the system almost immediately after the statement job runs, so by the time we asked for the PDF, there was nothing left to put in it..
  2. Download the statement job's "output" file.
